10th Annual Blooming Bardstown Garden Tour and Marketplace
June 8, 8:00am–4:00pm
The Garden Tour, held rain or shine on June 8, features seven fabulous private gardens in historic Bardstown, KY. It will also include St. Monica’s community vegetable gardens as well as Bardstown’s first ever rain garden and a demonstration garden at the Nelson County Extension Office at 317 S. Third, which is where the tour begins. This self-guided tour runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local artists will once again be painting in the gardens during the tour.
The Marketplace, which is free to attend, will be open at the Extension Office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the Marketplace, visitors can purchase their garden tour tickets, grab a bite to eat, buy baked goods from the Nelson County Homemakers and 4-H teens, sign up door prizes and submit their bids in the Silent Auction.
Tour tickets are $8 in advance at the Extension Office and the Tourist Commission at One Court Square in Bardstown, KY. They will be sold on the day of the tour for $10 only at the Marketplace and only until 2 p.m.

Stand for Children Day

Hosted by American Bank and Trust and the Bowling Green Kiwanis, Stand for Children Day is a free event and a wonderful way to celebrate the younger members of our community. It provides fun activities for children while providing information to families and caregivers about the benefits available in our community. Families, summer camps and child care centers bring children to play at countless booths and activities manned by area agencies and businesses.
